According to a report in the Greek Reporter, Greece will be issuing new biometric ID cards in compliance with an agreement on security and terrorism that it signed with the United States.
In addititon to new ID cards, the agreement also details the exchange of intelligence between the two countries.
The Citizens’ Protection Ministry has announced a planned evaluation of the agreement next month.
