Insight Partners releases report on mobile biometrics market to 2025

 

Insight Partners has published the “Mobile Biometrics Market to 2025 – Global Analysis and Forecasts by Components, Authentication Type, Verticals” report, which projects significant growth from 2017 to 2025 due to growing concerns for security and increasing penetration of mobile phones across the world.

Mobile biometric technology continues to be a heavily adopted method of accessing mobile devices, with Apple being an early integrator of fingerprint biometric technology with its mobile phones and tablets.

Previous to mobile biometric integration, the application of biometric technology was mostly limited to medical and R&D purposes, but the technology is increasing being used in a range of industries and is expected to see further advancement in coming years, Insight Partners states.

The report aims to provide an overview of global mobile biometrics market along with detailed segmentation of market by components, authentication type, verticals and five major geographical regions (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, and South America).

Insight Partners identifies several key players in mobile biometrics market, including 3M Cogent, ImageWare Systems Inc., Fujitsu, Apple, M2SYS, Mobbeel, BioEnable Technologies Pvt. Ltd., NEC, Applied Recognition, Inc. and Precise Biometrics AB.
