Vision-Box releases airport analytics application


Vision-Box has released vb dashbox, a new application designed for airport authorities to manage real-time passenger data intelligence streams and ultimately provide a holistic airport passenger travel and behavioral information data center.

vb dashbox achieves this by improving airport management’s daily decision-making process, operational performance, and cost control by improving the granular detail of the information streams and providing effective tools to examine metrics and key performance indicators of all airport and passenger data.

The web-based application, which integrates into the Orchestra Management Platform, is designed to analyze the raw data so that all airport stakeholders to manage and communicate business challenges more effectively and achieve better operational results.

Combined with Orchestra, vb dashbox leverages Vision-Box’s line of biometric solutions by offering an aggregated informational view of the entire airport walkthrough process.

Stakeholders are provided with a detailed view of passenger metrics and are able to view the data in smart, penetrating graphics on all laptop, tablet and mobile platforms.

vb dashbox optimizes this viewing experience by allowing users to customize their personal performance flow analytics display.

The visualization is customized using a widgets library, which allows the user to generate a tailored and personalized dashboard suited for individual data requirements and offering specific insights into airport operations.

This provides a live operational monitoring of the entire passenger clearance process with remote process control and a holistic view of data.

The browser-based, drag-and-drop interface allows users to instantly respond to changes in parameters by applying different filters to assist in narrowing down the results to get to the core of the smart data.

This can include business intelligence parameters, technical solution performance, and passenger flow statistics, among a range of other capabilities.

The app uses a privacy-by-design role-based control of the analytics and management of the data, with access and visualization restricted to authorized users.

Finally, vb dashbox provides 24-hour access to comprehensive quality data intelligence, including passenger trends, solution performance, and full operational control across multiple locations and devices.

With vb dashbox, key stakeholders are able to share files and charts across the business network via reports with filtering and examination capabilities.
