Nymi secures financial investment from Konica Minolta

Nymi recently announced a strategic partnership with Konica Minolta that includes a financial investment by the Japanese multinational technology company in Nymi. According to the announcement, the investment and strategic partnership validates Nymi’s Always On Authentication solution for highly regulated industries.

Nymi has completed deployments of its enterprise authentication solution with a number leading pharmaceutical-related companies. The enterprise-grade software provides seamless integration with manufacturing execution systems and single sign-on systems and works with the Nymi Band wearable device to solve critical customer problems, such as data integrity.

“Nymi’s authentication solution is poised to alter the landscape for regulated industries,” said Nymi COO Dave Rai. “The Konica Minolta partnership allows the Nymi technology and solution to scale to broader verticals in the enterprise market.”

CTO of Konica Minolta Kunihiro Koshizuka added, “We have been engaged with Nymi discussing enterprise authentication and potential ways to work together. We look forward to exploring ways to scale the Nymi technology to broader enterprise solutions.”
