Suprema showcased fingerprint scanners at SDW 2018

 

Suprema ID presented full demonstrations of its BioMini series fingerprint authentication scanners and RealScan series FBI-certified fingerprint enrollment scanners at SDW 2018 this week in London.

According to the announcement, the new FAP20-compliant BioMini Slim 2S fingerprint scanner has a 1.0GHz CPU, provides high-speed extraction and matching on the device and supports true plug-n-play by featuring HID protocol which enables users to scan fingers immediately after physical connection of USB plug without any set-up or installation steps. BioMini Slim 2S also enables users to operate web-based applications from their mobile devices or PCs regardless of their OS type.

The rugged device is IP65-rated dust and water resistant and equipped with Suprema’s 500dpi slim optical sensor featuring advanced live fingerprint detection technology. The BioMini Slim 2S complies with FBI PIV/FIPS201 and mobile ID FAP20 certifications and enables users to capture fingerprints under harsh environmental conditions as well as direct sunlight up to 100,000 LUX.
