Feitian’s new Fido2 token features FPC biometrics

Feitian has integrated Fingerprint Cards biometric fingerprint sensor into its new Fido2-certified token for easy and secure user login and authentication experience.

The AllinPass K33 embeds Bluetooth and NFC which enables a seamless communication with mobile devices and PCs. According to a company statement, the AllinPass is designed to drive and enable passwordless multi-factor authentication across multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications.

“Traditional username-password scheme protection, and two-factor authentication, are no longer enough for today’s enterprise security needs,” explains FEITIAN Technologies Vice President and General Manager of International Business Tibi Zhang. “As a result, biometric authentication is expected to grow significantly in the coming years as the fingerprint replaces the PIN. We have worked closely with the FIDO Alliance by strictly adhering to their industry-established technology standards for strong, phishing-resistant authentication on the web that promises better security and a better user experience with our broader choice of Authenticators for everyone.”

In March FEITIAN launched a line of biometric smart cards for enterprise and payment applications, powered by Fingerprint Cards’ technology. Last month Fingerprint Cards surpassed a milestone of 1 billion fingerprint sensors shipped.
