Intelligent biometric access controller CoreStation from Suprema has been confirmed for UL 294 compliance, which indicates the safety and reliability of access control products.

The company says larger customers like government institutions, corporations, and medical and banking service providers value the certification as an indication that their reliability needs will be met, according to the company announcement.

“We are glad to announce that Suprema CoreStation has been recognized by an internationally renowned label for its safety and reliability. This means that CoreStation meets the industry’s highest standards and customers looking for top-notch access control solution can be assured to choose Suprema,” says Young S. Moon, the CEO of Suprema Inc.

CoreStation is an intelligent door controller that enables biometric security for centralized access control systems, capable of scaling up to 132 access points and 500,000 users.

Suprema has also been selected among the Top 50 Global Security Companies 2020 by A&S Magazine, and third among ‘Entry Systems’ providers. Overall, Suprema took 33rd spot on the list.

The list, which A&S Magazine compiles based on sales results, has included Suprema every year since 2011.

“We are proud to have been included in Top 50 global security companies in ten consecutive years by A&S magazine. Suprema will continue to innovate and pioneer to further strengthen our position as an industry leader,” comments Moon in a separate press release.
