Agnitio Corp. Awarded Contract by the United States Government’s TSWG

Agnitio, a leader in voice biometrics technology in areas such as law enforcement, intelligence and authentication solutions, was recently awarded with a research and development contract by the US Government’s Technical Support Working Group. With this contract, Agnitio will further enhance its expertise in the field of voice biometrics as it focuses on voice biometrics-based mobile phone security capabilities.

Agnitio’s mobile voice authentication technology will extend to include other devices and operating systems as well. It will make use of secure remote authentication, making mobile devices a useful tool in field operations.

Mr. Emilio Martinez, the CEO of Agnitio, pointed out the advantages of voice biometric identification for mobile device authentication: “It is an inexpensive, but very accurate and fast way to secure mobile devices.” In his assessment, enrolling an approved user for mobile device authentication “takes less than a minute and subsequent authentication can be done in as little as three seconds with very high selectivity and very low false rejection rates.”
