Intellicheck Mobilisa Receives New Certification

Intellicheck Mobilisa has just recently received the Lenel factory certification and has now joined the Lenel Open Access Alliance Program (OAAP). Intellicheck Mobilisa has partnered up with Lenel’s OnGuard access control system to give rise to better security technology.

A leading technology company, which specializes in wireless and identity authentication, Intellicheck Mobilisa’s Mobile Prox Reader can read many types of cards for verification and access control. The company has completed the required testing at the Lenel factory to further stamp the validity of their product’s interface with OnGuard.

A pairing of both the Intellicheck Mobilisa’s Prox Reader and Lenel’s Onguard access control system, allows any system operator or user to easily verify a cardholder’s registration. They can enable a mobile reader to check and verify a person’s credentials as a means to improve security and access control management. The mobile reader can give real time verification while also sending important data to the end user.

The goal of the partnership is simplify operations via sending either just a go or no go command. This way, users can check or verify a Prox cardholder’s registration using the OnGuard system from a mobile interface. It not only checks and verifies registration but also keeps an updated list of modified or deleted badges. Lastly, it can quickly upload or send transaction statistics, which are needed for reporting purposes.

Does certification improve the reliability and effectiveness of access control systems?
