Better management systems being implemented in 13 of Western Rim’s properties

Categories Biometrics News

Western Rim Property Services in Texas has recently selected BuildingLink to outfit 13 of its luxury properties with state of the art web-based systems for managing communications, operations and day to day activities for both occupants and building personnel. The company, along with its affiliate Newport Classic Homes, has more than 7,500 apartment homes scattered across the great state of Texas.

KeyLink is an electronic key management system developed by BuildingLink specifically designed to cater to the security needs of both residential and commercial buildings. The electronic key management system records sends request into a password protected database which in turn sends the appropriate notifications to building personnel and occupants via email or text messaging.

Some of the key features which attracted Western Rim to this electronic management system are the intuitive touch screen, quick install, biometric fingerprint reader and secure SmartTag key tags which aid in the efficient organization of keys. Other optional features, which can be implemented into the system, are webcam services, which allows for photos in conjunction with a corresponding signature pad.

The system is part of the luxury property upgrades being undertaken by the firm. They hope that the new security and personnel management system can meet residents’ expectations along with improving the current security standards set in their properties.

The real estate group was also impressed at how the installation of the new system was done remotely in all 13 locations along with completing the task within a reasonable timeframe. At the end of the day, all of the 13 luxury properties had the same KeyLink system running in their buildings.

What do you think? Will KeyLink’s integration of biometrics be the answer for a better and more efficient property security system? Let us know in the comments.
