Accurate Biometrics awarded Chicago school fingerprinting contract

Accurate Biometrics recently announced that it was awarded the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) fingerprinting services contract. The award is a two-year term contract that grants Accurate Biometric an option to renew for one additional year. This is Accurate Biometrics’ fourth consecutive award with the school board. The contract assures the safety of students by conducting fingerprint-based record checks of school board employees.

“We are very proud and excited about this most recent award from the Chicago Public Schools. Having served the Chicago Public Schools since 2001, our partnership with the third largest school district in the United States has proven to be extremely effective in ensuring the safety of the just over 404,000 students served by the CPS.” said Peggy Critchfield, President of Accurate Biometrics.

“It is a pleasure and very rewarding to work with a client who is as forward thinking as CPS, and who is always asking itself what else it can do to ensure the safety of the student and the faculty. Equally rewarding is the CPS commitment to local businesses, as Accurate Biometrics is headquartered in Chicago. Additionally, many of Accurate Biometrics’ highly skilled staff of fingerprint technicians and management staff are CPS alumni, and many of these alumni have children currently enrolled within the CPS system,” Critchfield continued.
Accurate Biometrics is considered a leader in live-scan fingerprinting which is used for criminal history record evaluation and checking.

“We feel our service is the key component in protecting our most vulnerable populations—our children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities”, Peggy Critchfield added.

Is live-scan fingerprinting efficient and useful for criminal history record evaluation and checking?
