Precise Biometrics to expand Tactivo to more smartphone brands

The launch of Tactivo by Precise Biometrics earlier this year is expected to generate large sales for the firm. As a result, Precise Biometrics is presently exploring and adapting its product for other mobile devices, gadgets and even laptops.

Most smartphones have either a low grade of security embedded into them or are not user friendly if they incorporate biometrics. Tactivo solves this problem by basically securing access with either a fingerprint, ID card or both. This added security is particularly important for government agencies, healthcare facilities and financial institutions that use the Internet or cloud-based services to retrieve or store their information.

Tactivo will be adapted for several other brand names in the smartphone and tablet industry in order to secure Precise Biometrics’ hold on the growing market.

As BiometricUpdate.com recently reported, Tactivo is the first fingerprint and smart card reader especially designed for the smartphone, specifically the Apple iPhone. A vital player in the automotive industry has also placed a very large order from the company, further boosting sales this year.

Will Precise Biometrics be able to dominate other smartphone marketplaces through product expansion?
