Westminster Group supplies x-ray machines to Biometrics & Security Company

Westminster Group PLC recently announced that it has secured a contract for the supply of x-ray baggage scanning systems to the UK-based Biometrics & Security Company for onward supply to an overseas customer.

Under this contract Westminster will provide x-ray baggage scanning systems for the detection of organic and inorganic items such as weapons, explosives and narcotics.

Westminster’s x-ray scanners use a unique six-color software which significantly enhances the operator’s ability to identify suspicious items along with a x-ray detector array that increases detection sensitivity, improves image resolution and optimizes image presentation.

All of the firm’s machines are equipped with real-time diagnostics, a unique feature which allows users to monitor their machine health status, thus greatly increasing the system lifespan.

The firm’s machines are used at airports, banks, commercial buildings, courthouses, embassies, government buildings, military installations, prisons, ships and security checkpoints.
