Center for Global Development announces panel discussion on biometrics revolution

The Center for Global Development in Washington, DC has announced its upcoming panel discussion, Identification and the Biometrics Revolution: Can ID be Harnessed for Development, which is set to take place next Tuesday, Feb. 12 in DC and promises to bring together technical development experts at the forefront of this technology to discuss the role of identification today.

Featuring representatives from the Center for Global Development, World Bank, Delta ID Incorporated, BiON Corporation, Marketing Strategies at Work and the UN Department of Political Affairs, this panel will discuss how biometrics are used in the field, what advances are likely in the future and how they might best be supported by donors as well as what changes are needed to make the most of the biometrics revolution.
