BIO-key International’s ID Director gets CA SiteMinder validation

BIO-key International has achieved CA validation status for its Bio-Key ID Director for CA SiteMinder.

The CA Validation program is designed to provide a standard process to verify technology partners’ integrated products. Specific criteria must be met including confirming a technology partners’ integrated solution correctly installs, configures and performs as described by the technology partner.

BIO-key is a Select member of the Technology Partner Program of CA Technologies and is a vendor of the Cloud Commons marketplace, an online ecosystem developed by CA Technologies that facilitates the buying and selling of IT solutions, cloud services and content.

“Interoperability and flexibility are key elements for CA SiteMinder as a secure single sign-on and access management platform,” Shawn Sprague, Security Product Management, CA Technologies said. “Extending our technology interoperability with BIO-key to add another form of authentication reinforces our commitment to security and making sure our customers can leverage complementary industry capabilities.”

BIO-key and CA Technologies are both in the process of deploying a secure authentication platform developed collaboratively, for inmates in the British Columbia justice system seeking access to their personal records.

The company will showcase the Bio-Key ID Director for CA SiteMinder and its most recent mobile authentication solutions at CA World 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 21-24.
