Global Payout, ImageWare Systems ink agreement for biometric SaaS platform

Global Payout and ImageWare Systems have signed an agreement which will see the two companies combine forces and introduce ImageWare’s GoCLoudID SaaS platform for users of Global Payout’s Consolidated Payment Gateway.

“Our MoneyTrac Consolidated Payment Gateway platform enables our multinational business clients to efficiently make payouts to their employees, contractors, and affiliates through a single management console,” Bill Rochfort, president and executive VP of sales and marketing for Global Payout said. “Working with ImageWare Systems, our gateway solution can now offer a second level of access authentication to each individual’s electronic wallet account, reinforcing the accurate identification of the end-user.”

Specifically, the ImageWare SaaS system will run on top of Fujitsu’s Global Cloud Platform.

ImageWare’s services will be delivered for a onetime enrollment fee per new customer and a monthly subscription fee basis that will vary per customer.  Services will be delivered via Fujitsu’s global data center networks, the FGCP providing fully configured, on-demand IT infrastructure for the ImageWare CloudID SaaS.

“We are pleased to provide authentication and verification over the Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform from ImageWare Systems to Global Payout customers around the world,” Joel O’Halloran, executive vice president of IT services and retail at Fujitsu America said. “The Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform addresses the needs of the enterprise, service providers and consumers by enabling the deployment of a secure, agile and reliable cloud-based identity management solution.”

Reported previously, ImageWare recently received an order from the city of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada, for a biometric identity management and booking system, worth approximately $125,000.
