HID Global expands channel partner program

HID Global has announced that it has expanded its channel partner program, which it says includes a range of benefits enabling partners to find new business opportunities in key vertical markets and emerging regions.

According to the company, as a part of the HID Advantage Partner Program, participating distributors, integrators and OEMs will benefit from a streamlined channel engagement model that is designed to foster long-term success and deliver an exceptional customer experience.  The partner program also includes increased investments that are focused on partner relationships and strategy alignment; partner enablement and certification; and expanded program management resources, infrastructure and communications.

“The goal of the HID Advantage Partner Program is to increase value for our customers by ensuring that channel partners have everything they need to deliver the most trusted, advanced and dependable secure identity solutions in the market,” Carolyn Newburn, senior director of Global Channel Programs with HID Global said. “This expanded program is paramount to our ongoing commitment to a channel-centric business model and our valued partner community.  Working closely with our partners, we will continue to extend the Genuine HID value proposition to a growing customer base that includes many Fortune 1000 companies and businesses in virtually all industry sectors, including healthcare, retail, commercial, transportation, government, finance and education.”

The new program model offers tiered partner discounts and includes early visibility into the company’s product and technology direction.  HID Global will also allocate market development funds and other marketing resources to its partners, and says it will support them with lead generation initiatives, a broad range of sales tools and a new global portal.  Training and certification offerings include a variety of online technical training and solution sessions through the company’s Genuine HID Academy.
