Corvus Integration, Vista Imaging launch dual iris and face camera

Corvus Integration, along with Vista Imaging, has announced a new dual iris and face camera, The VistaEY2-P.

According to Corvus, the new camera performs single pose collection of ISO/IEC 19794-5/6 compliant iris and face images at a distance of 22 inches, optimized for iris and face recognition.

According to the company, the multi-modal biometric collection peripheral is suitable for a wide variety of identity management applications and programs, including national identity, border control, law enforcement, customs and visa, finance and banking, and healthcare.

The new camera features an integrated flash for poorly lit environments to optimize the collection of facial images and real-time liveness detection for iris acquisitions.  The EY2P is integrated into Raven, Corvus’ proprietary identity management application software, which provides users with a multi-modal biometric collection, matching, and enrollment capability.
