IBIA announces Connect:ID conference and exhibition, set to take place next week in Washington, DC

The International Biometrics & Identification Association (IBIA) and Science Media Partners have collaborated to launch the connect:ID exhibition and conference, set to take place next  March 17-19, 2014, at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington, DC.

“With exhibitors and speakers from around the globe, this unique and cutting edge event embraces the full spectrum of biometric and identity applications in the rapidly expanding commercial verticals and consumer arena, including mobile, healthcare, financial services, cyber threats, identity theft, and data breaches as well as new and innovative government uses,” Bob Harbour, IBIA’s chairman and president said.

“The exhibition will display today’s most advanced identification technologies while the conference will address how these technologies are creating impressive and innovative applications for commercial and government use,” Mark Lockie, SMP’s managing director said.

According to the organizers, Connect:ID will unite solutions adopters and stakeholders and will explore the development and fusion of multiple advanced identity technologies – including biometrics, secure credentials and digital identity systems.
