The Center for Identity at the University of Texas at Austin has awarded MorphoTrust with its Hook ‘em Horns Award, for its active participation on the Center’s Board of Advisors and its leadership position in identity solutions and services.

According to the company, MorphoTrust serves as communications chair for the Center’s Board of Advisors, leading activities aimed at raising the Center’s profile and elevating critical identity issues.

The Center for Identity was established in 2010 and has a focus on research, education and outreach on identity issues.

“The Center for Identity sincerely appreciates MorphoTrust’s leadership and dedication to advancing the Center’s mission of excellence in identity research and education,” Suzanne Barber, director of the Center said. “This award is a small token of our appreciation for all MorphoTrust has done to support the Center over the last several years, with hopefully many years of collaboration to come.”

The Center says it will present the award to MorphoTrust at ID360, the Center’s annual conference, which takes place this week at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, Texas.

Reported previously, MorphoTrust recently landed new contracts for its fingerprint biometric technology, as a part of background check initiatives in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Nevada.
