TSWG to integrate EyeVerify verification for iOS and Android devices

EyeVerify and The System Works Group (TSWG) have announced that TSWG NetTeller Mobile Money will integrate EyeVerify’s Eyeprint Verification across iOS and Android devices.

“As financial institutions increase access to consumers’ sensitive personal data and banking services on mobile devices, the need to verify the identity of users is critical,” Chris Barnett, EVP of global sales and marketing for EyeVerify said. “As we integrate with TSWG, our Eyeprint Verification will enable financial institutions using TSWG NetTeller Mobile Money to add biometric security as a replacement for PINs and passwords or as a second authentication factor confirming sensitive transactions.”

EyeVerify has also announced that it will participate in Finovate Sprint, a two-day showcase of banking technology innovations, set to take place this week in San Jose. EverVerify has scheduled a demo for Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. PST.

“EyeVerify’s technology will make an innovative addition to NetTeller Mobile Money, consumers want convenient, anywhere, anytime banking while being protected against unauthorized use, if a phone is ever lost or stolen.” Terry Hudson, General Manager, Sales and Marketing at TSWG said.

Early this year, as reported in BiometricUpdate.com, EyeVerify won two 2014 Mobility Awards at CES in Las Vegas. Specifically, the company took home “Rookie of the Year” and “Technology Innovation” awards.
