SRI signs reseller agreement with emaratech for the UAE and Jordan

SRI International has announced a new exclusive reseller agreement with emaratech, an IT solutions provider and management consulting company in the UAE and Jordan.

“emaratech has rapidly and effectively deployed biometric systems for demanding, high-traffic security environments in the UAE,” Mark Clifton, vice president, Products and Services Division at SRI International said. “Aligning SRI’s cutting-edge iris recognition products with emaratech’s experience installing and supporting biometric solutions will allow organizations to dramatically enhance their security posture.”

Under the new agreement, SRI’s Iris On the Move iris biometric products are now available in the UAE and Jordan. According to SRI, this agreement is non-exclusive in Oman.

“Evolving and increasingly complex security challenges require cutting edge technologies that can be installed and deployed in diverse indoor and outdoor environments,” Thani Alzaffin, director general and board member of emaratech said. “SRI’s proven biometric products operate at the leading edge, and for that reason our strategic partners will benefit from this new teaming relationship.”

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, SRI recently announced that its IOM iris biometric system had been deployed as an access control system at the E-Commerce Park Curaçao, a new data center in the Pan Caribbean. area.
