Digitus Biometrics announces access control AMAG compatibility

Digitus Biometrics has announced that its biometric access control software, DAS-SQL, is now compatible with AMAG’s Symmetry access control and video surveillance platform.

According to the company, its solutions optimize security while using biometric technology and feature user monitoring and management functions.

For customers migrating their accounts and data to DAS-SQL, Digitus says they can do so without having to re-enroll.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Digitus systems are in use at a ScaleMatrix data center in San Diego, California.

According to recent research, the global electronic access control market is set to reach $16.3 billion by 2017, at a CAGR of 7 percent from 2012 to 2017.
