Entertech Systems app integrates Suprema biometric readers with Honeywell security suite

Entertech Systems announced that its BioConnect application can now integrate Suprema biometric devices with Honeywell’s Pro-Watch security management suite to provide secure access control solutions for all situations.

The Suprema line of biometric devices and Entertech Systems’ BioConnect application will be resold and supported through Honeywell. The Suprema reader models include BioStation T2, BioStation, BioEntry Plus, BioEntry W, BioLite Net and BioMini.

“It’s a relationship that brings together what each company does best,” said Alan Stoddard, senior director of marketing at Honeywell. “Bringing in the combined Entertech Systems and Suprema advanced biometric technologies has really opened up the possibilities for our Pro-Watch security management suite, and we’re pleased to be able to provide our customers with such cutting-edge solutions.”

Entertech Systems’ BioConnect application integrates Suprema’s biometric readers with Honeywell’s Pro-Watch security management suite for secure access control.

BioConnect allows ProWatch users to access biometric templates on an individual user basis, all without the added stress of managing the dual data entry typically associated with stand-alone biometric solutions.

This can all be done through a real-time seamless sync between ProWatch and BioConnect.

Using an enrollment window, users can search for a user/badge and introduce new biometric templates. This ultimately allows Honeywell customers to integrate biometrics into their access control systems.

“Our relationship with Honeywell will enable their systems integrators and end user customers to fast track and overcome three major obstacles to mainstream adoption of biometrics,” said Rob Douglas, CEO of Entertech Systems. “Cost, complexity and user on-boarding are all addressed by our BioConnect integration application, which leverages Suprema’s leading biometric technology.”
