Precise Biometrics AB announced it has named Bo-Göran Jaxelius CFO and member of its management team.

The company also announced it has promoted R&D director Rutger Petersson to the management team.

The managerial changes are part of Precise Biometrics’ previously announced initiative to reach profitability during 2015, which saw the departure of previous CFO Patrik Norberg and corporate counsel Anna Herdenberg.

“I welcome Bo-Göran and Rutger to the management team, together they will bring valuable experiences that further strengthens our operational focus going forward,” said Håkan Persson, CEO of Precise Biometrics.

Jaxelius has 20 years of experience, having previous served as CEO, CFO and director of finance at Scalado AB, Deloitte, Zi Corporation and Decuma.

Meanwhile, Petersson has over 15 years of experience serving in a range of technical positions at Precise Biometrics, Ericsson and Teleca Mobile.

He first joined Precise Biometrics in 2007, working mostly with project and program management.

As a result of these changes, the management team now consists of CEO Håkan Persson, COO Patrik Lindeberg, corporate marketing manager Daniel Edlund, director of R&D Rutger Petersson, and CFO Bo-Göran Jaxelius.
