EAB seminar Biometrics in Banking currently has over 25 banks registered
The upcoming European Association for Biometrics seminar, Biometrics in Banking, has received an overwhelming response with over 25 banks currently registered to attend.
The EAB seminar includes speakers from different banks and financial institutions, including Barclays, Visa Europe and GE Money Bank.
Meanwhile, integrators and suppliers will discuss biometric implementations, referring to specific ongoing projects and use cases.
Previously reported, the EAB seminar will be hosted by Citibank and co-organized by Financial Fraud Action UK, and will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Citibank branch at 25 Canada Square in London.
“The response to the seminar is very good, especially from banks and other financial institutions,” said Max Snijder, event manager of Biometrics in Banking and secretary of the EAB board. “It seems that a new dynamic has emerged regarding the use of biometrics for banking and other transactions. This seminar is the right place for all of those, who wish to be well informed about the actual use of biometrics in current and future deployments, as well as to learn about the state of the art in biometric products and solutions.”
The seminar will explore various business cases and developments in mobile banking and financial transactions, with end users sharing their experiences from a business perspective in the areas of process flows, added value, fraud reduction, implementation strategy and client experience.
