Identity management distributor IDtech360 launches operations

IDtech360 announced that it has formerly launched its biometric-based access and identity management operations.

Offering the latest fingerprint, palm vein, facial, and iris technologies, IDtech360 will provide hardware and software components and solutions to end user organizations, systems integrators, and security solution providers.

Initially, the Homewood, Alabama-based company will focus specifically on the higher education marketplace.

IDtech360 founder and CEO Seth Miller has significant expertise in the global biometrics market, having previously served as director of international business development for authentication firm Lumidigm, Inc..

Miller saw a need for a US-based company that could provide integrator groups and end users the ability to offer multiple biometric modalities, instead of a single platform that may only be ideal in specific circumstances.

“I saw an opportunity here at home to represent the companies that were making the greatest impact overseas in our industry and who were not represented in the United States,” said Miller. “IDtech360’s advantage rests in the ability to bring truly integrated biometric solutions to our clients based on their unique needs. The other side of that has to do with the fact that we know our suppliers well. Our goal is to build and maintain solid relationships from both ends.”

IDtech360 offers a diverse product line, including fingerprint, palm vein, iris, and facial biometric technology and has partnered with many international technology manufacturers and hopes to expand its market presence both within the United States and internationally.
