Telcom & Data offering Digitus Biometrics’ door handles with fingerprint access control

Categories Access Control  |  Biometrics News

Telcom & Data is now offering Digitus Biometrics door handles with fingerprint access control systems, which enables users to secure any area of their data or technology center.

Digitus Biometrics’ door handles eliminate the need for proximity cards and enables them to gain access by simply scanning a fingertip.

The product is backed by Digitus’ proprietary biometric technology, IP networking, and advanced control software, which work together to deliver centralized administration, real-time monitoring and alerts.

The DB ServerRack 1U solution uses the company’ software and hardware in a system that creates an algorithm associated with the individual’s fingerprint.

Meanwhile, the solution verifies that the fingerprint does, in fact, belong to a person without collecting any private personal information.

Digitus Biometrics designs and provides a complete set of biometric access control solutions that secure entire enterprises from the front doors of multiple buildings to the doors of individual cabinet doors.
