Apex Air Entry/Exit Re-engineering webinar, April 9, 2015
The DHS Apex Air Entry/Exit Re-engineering (AEER) Program will host a webinar for biometric solution providers and industry representatives today, Thursday, April 9 at 1 PM EST.
The DHS Apex AEER project is a partnership between DHS Science and Technology Directorate, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The webinar will cover a range of technical topics including biometric exit and improving the international arrivals process at air ports of entry, provide a chance to brief the vendor community on progress thus far, solicit input from private industry, and include a Q&A.
The purpose of the Apex AEER project is to examine and provide a comprehensive assessment of air entry/exit processes and their current capabilities. It will also develop, test, pilot, and evaluate integrated approaches to introduce more efficient traveler facilitation and identification processes and effective biometric technologies to screen travelers entering the U.S. and to confirm the departure of in-scope travelers at U.S. airports.
This webinar will update stakeholders on the status of the project.
Pre-registration is required to access the event.
