Aurora releases deep learning-powered facial recognition access control solution

Aurora has launched FaceSentinel, the world’s first Deep Learning-powered facial recognition access control system.

Deep learning (DL) is an artificial intelligence form that trains a computer’s memory to recognize unique patterns of characteristics by processing large amounts of data.

FaceSentinal is designed for applications where the highest levels of security and reliability are required.

The system is small, non-intrusive and non-contact, providing high levels of unobtrusive second-level authentication.

The system can be integrated directly with existing access control technology via industry standard protocols, providing a high-speed, accurate and consistent security update for critical sites.

Previously reported, UK construction, development, refurbishment and maintenance contractor Mulalley recently adopted Aurora’s facial recognition based solutions to manage time and attendance.
