NEC to present and demonstrate biometrics solutions at UC Summit 2015

NEC announced it will be hosting and participating in several panels and presentations, as well as demonstrating key biometrics solutions throughout the UC Summit 2015.

The annual conference and exhibition will be held from November 15-18 at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa in La Jolla, California.

NEC, which is also a Diamond sponsor and the Audio Visual sponsor of the event, will first present a keynote on November 16.

The presentation will be followed by participation in the UC&C vendor roundtable, co-moderated by Enterprise Connect GM Eric Krapf, and UC Summit producer Jim Burton.

NEC’s premise-based and cloud solutions will be analyzed and discussed in two panels, held on November 17, starting with UCStrategies experts’ annual review and assessment of the UC&C vendor landscape which identifies the key vendors’ strengths, challenges, and new initiatives.

In the second session entitled “UC Technologies That Are Going Viral”, UC Experts Steve Leaden and Melissa Swartz will discuss several solutions from NEC.

On November 18, Joe Salisbury, NEC’s VP of marketing, corporate communications and big data, will host a vision presentation in which he will discuss the company’s predictions for the UC market and technology.

Additionally, NEC will perform demonstrations of several products, including biometrics, SDN, UCaaS cloud services, and networking solutions.

“Communications solutions continue in its evolution of integrating SDN, sensors, biometrics facial recognition, retinal and fingerprint technologies and the expanded utilization of IT server and storage solutions, have become the driving force in our industry. Our customers have a great deal of confidence in our proven leadership in these technologies.”

NEC also said it will make a big announcement at the Summit, but will not provide any specific information until then.

Previously reported, NEC opened the first ever TecSec Summit on September 28 as part of The Hotel Show Dubai, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
