Broad range of biometric technology and identity solutions coming to ISC West

The ISC West 2016 security trade show kicks off this week in Las Vegas, Nevada and visitors can expect to see, demo and learn about a broad range of biometric technology and identity solutions.

BioConnect announced that it will be exhibiting jointly with Suprema and will be showcasing some impressive new products and solutions.

BioConnect will be presenting its identity platform featuring five integrations with access control management systems including: Paxton Net2, AMAG Symmetry, Software House CCURE 9000, Genetec Security Center and Lenel OnGuard. The demonstrations will feature the latest BioConnect platform release, v3.6.

Suprema will showcase its latest BioStation A2 and BioStation L2 terminals. BioConnect supports the implementation of Suprema’s biometric devices (finger, face, card and PIN) and IP access control solutions. The BioStation A2 fingerprint access control and time and attendance terminal features Suprema’s next generation biometric and security technology.

The Android-based GUI has been recognized as the best biometric solution at the recent ISC Brazil event in Sao Paulo and it is currently in the running for best new product at SIA New Product Showcase at ISC Brazil. The biometric terminal has also been submitted into the SIA New Product Showcase seeking the achievement of best new product at ISC West.

ISC West will mark the world premiere of BioStation L2, a compact fingerprint terminal with full time and attendance and access control features. The new BioStation L2 is an incredibly fast, secure, versatile and cost effective solution.

BioConnect will also be demonstrating a solution fit for ‘Best in Class’ data centers that leverages BioConnect’s platform to combine Suprema biometric readers and Digitus server cabinet locks with an access control system infrastructure.

BioConnect will also demonstrate its identity application, BioConnect TeamWorks, a cloud-based HR suite that works jointly with Suprema biometric terminals.

Access control manufacturer ISONAS will announce its first integration with Open Options at ISC West. Open Options’ award-winning open architecture access control software, is the most IT-centric product on the market, interfacing seamlessly with leading security systems including video, biometrics, and intercom.

“ISONAS is proud to partner with a world-class company such as Open Options and provide our customers with a simple, cost-effective access control solution,” states Rob Mossman, CEO of ISONAS. “We are excited to announce this integration with Open Options at ISC West and show the industry the power of Pure IP hardware.”

HID Global announced that company executives will conduct workshops and present across a range of topics at next week’s ISC West including: Chip Epps and Daniel Bailin conducting a workshop on “The Future of Physical Access in a Digital World” and presenting on “Enabling Compliance for Physical and Cyber Security in Mobile Devices”; Don Campbell will present “End-to End Best Practices in Systems Integration”, and; Vik Ghai will present “Are Physical and Virtual Doors Now the Same” and “Making Sense of Security Without Data Demarcation”. HID will also be offering live demonstrations at its booth all week.

In addititon to the companies mentioned above: SecuGen will be showcasing its UN20 Serial, a stand-alone, high performance, low cost, optical fingerprint sensor; Matrix will be showcasing its biometric access control and IP video surveillance solutions; Northrop Grumman will demo its biometric ecosystem, a comprehensive range of biometric intelligence solutions for military, law enforcement, counterterrorism and border control that includes multi-modal capture, storage, matching, performance monitoring, modeling, simulation and biometric-enabled intelligence functions, and; SRI Identity, a line of business of SRI International, will debut its new IOM Access Control Tablet that fuses an access-control reader, biometrics, keypad, intercom, camera and other capabilities.
