PayExpo Europe, the UK’s largest payments technology conference and exhibition, will return to ExCel, London on June 7 and 8, 2016.

As new developments drive continual change in the vital area of payments, the event is an essential source of news and insight for anyone involved in making financial transactions faster, easier and more secure.

PayExpo Europe attracts over 2000 attendees from retailers, banks, MNOs, gaming operators, government and local authorities, transport operators and solution providers. Held in London, the FinTech capital of the world, delegates can share insight, best practice and innovation about the future of payments and transaction technology and their impact on global commerce.

The comprehensive two day conference will feature expert speakers from leading organisations including Samsung Pay, the British Retail Consortium, the Digital Currency Council, Mondo, The Emerging Payments Association, The Bitcoin Foundation, The National Bank of Oman, The Payments Systems Regulator Forum and the Financial Conduct Authority.

Topics to be explored include utilising social networks for personalised and localized payments, competition between ‘challenger’ and legacy banks, an update on the European payments landscape and strategies for maintaining the UK as a payments hotspot.

The Banking Innovation Hub will showcase dedicated case studies for banks deploying advanced payments technologies. Topics to be discussed include how traditional banks can keep pace with ‘challenger banks’ and how newer banks can evolve while avoiding risk. The Merchants Payment Experience will form a dedicated area for retailers to preview the store of the future, including how beacon technology can be integrated and monetised.

At The Payments Navigation Hub (in partnership with Edgar Dunn & Company) delegates will receive expert advice in generating a bespoke programme itinerary. The CEO & VIP Lounge will welcome over 1,000 C-Level executives from across the European payments industry.
