SRI Identity sets up Northeast US region sales network

In an effort to extend the reach of its IOM biometric solutions, SRI Identity, a line of business of SRI International, has established a strong sales network in the Northeast U.S. region.

The IOM product line brings iris reading technology to a functional and cost-effective level for use in access control, workforce management and emerging security market applications.

According to a report in SourceSecurity.com, the joint sales team, which includes a premier set of manufacturer’s reps working closely with select internal business development and sales staff, will provide strong direct sales support to the general security market.

The manufacturer’s rep firms selected for the Northeast sales team include: Wilens Professional Sales, Mount Tremper, NY; Rupper Associates, Copiague, NY; Rep Works, South Hadley, MA; One Volt Associates, Silver Spring, MD, and; Monfort Electronics Marketing, Indianapolis, IN.

John Centofanti, director of business development, product and solutions division at SRI International, is managing the manufacturer’s rep programme.

Just last month, SRI Identity introduced its new IOM Access Control Tablet that fuses an access-control reader, biometrics, keypad, intercom, camera and other capabilities. The tablet joins the SRI Identity portfolio of Identity on the Move (IOM) solutions for physical and logical access control, workforce management, enterprise operations and emerging applications within the Internet of Things.
