Daon to demo its mobile biometric authentication platform at FinovateFall 2016

Daon announced that it has been selected to demonstrate its IdentityX Platform at FinovateFall 2016 this September in New York City.

The platform enables biometric multi-factor authentication to improve the customer experience with a more secure alternative to passwords. IdentityX allows financial institutions to establish trust by verifying a person is who they claim to be, enabling customers to securely bank and shop online.

FinovateFall is a demo-based conference for innovative startups and established companies in the fields of banking and financial technology.

Daon will showcase real world applications in live production environments and demonstrate use cases that include mobile login and payments verification.

Daon’s platform approach to implementing biometric authentication provides: omni-channel authentication with a mobile-first approach; device binding, geolocation, and liveness detection; biometric choice and ability to implement new technologies as they become available.

Greg Palmer, Sr. Event Director of Finovate, commented, “Daon’s IdentityX Platform is a truly innovative solution that provides convenient and secure authentication using multiple biometrics that facilitate choice, both for financial institutions and their customers. We’re excited to see how their innovation is being used ‘in the wild’ in a variety of use cases.”

“Daon’s IdentityX Platform is trusted by some of the most innovative and forward-leaning financial institutions in the world, such as USAA and Mastercard,” said Tom Grissen, chief executive officer at Daon. “We’re excited to demonstrate this technology, currently used by millions across the globe, to the FinovateFall audience.”
