SIBA appoints Ella Schiralli and Michael Bruce to Board of Directors

The Secure Identity & Biometrics Association recently appointed Ella Schiralli, Federal Government Markets Manager at 3M Company, and Michael Bruce, Director at General Dynamics Mission Systems to its Board of Directors.

Michael Dougherty, Chief Executive Officer of SIBA commented: “Ella and Michael bring a wealth of experience to our Board of Directors. SIBA is growing rapidly, and their input on our Board will help SIBA to build on its success in promoting substantive conversations between industry and government operators, in educating lawmakers on the benefits of biometrics and identity management technologies, and in engaging the media on edge solutions.”

According to a statement from the association, SIBA has grown in 2016, adding eight highly innovative companies to its membership including: Unisys, General Dynamics Mission Systems, Leidos, Identify, RiVidium, NEC, Advanced Optical Systems, and Disaster Solutions. SIBA has also grown its professional staff and consultant relationships.

This past June, SIBA hosted the Identity and Biometrics Innovation Forum, which featured panelists from the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House, CBP, OBIM, TSA, FBI and NIST.
