VeriTran to integrate Sensory biometrics solution into banking and financial apps

Sensory Inc. and VeriTran, a technology solutions provider for the financial and retail industry, have signed a global partnership that will provide a more secure and convenient way to authenticate users of mobile banking and mobile payments solutions.

Sensory’s TrulySecure is a combined voice and vision authentication solution that requires no special hardware as the solution uses standard microphones and cameras universally installed on phones, tablets and PCs. All processing and encryption is done on-device.

“User security is at the top of our customers’ priority lists, and through our relationship with Sensory we have been able to add unprecedented user security, as well as add new levels of end-user convenience, to the solutions we offer,” said Marcelo Gonzlez, CEO of VeriTran. “Biometric authentication has become a hot topic among our customers, in fact some of our customers have already released or are working on releasing mobile banking app featuring TrulySecure face and voice biometric authentication.”

TrulySecure is deployable on the wide range of new and existing devices.

The software ensures fast enrollment and usage, robustness to environments with poor lighting or high noise, anti-spoofing techniques such as motion and skin texture analysis, and is (Fast Identification Online) FIDO UAF certified.

“VeriTran is a pioneer and leader in secure digital and mobile banking solutions and we are thrilled to have them as our partner,” said Todd Mozer, CEO of Sensory. “Working with VeriTran enables us to offer their broad list of bank and financial institution customers access to our advanced biometric authentication technologies. We look forward to working with VeriTran and their customers to further improve the user experience and security of mobile banking.”

Previously reported, Samsung SDS partnered with Sensory Inc. to provide customers with a more secure and convenient approach to mobile banking and enterprise authentication services.
