Biometric identity membership platform Clear has added two hospitality industry veterans to the company’s leadership team.

Clear utilizes fingerprint and iris identification technology to speed its growing base of more than 700,000 members through security at airports and sports stadiums across the United States.

Joining Clear’s executive leadership team are Kerry Held, senior vice president of direct sales and corporate partnerships, and Ben Feilen, senior vice president of operations.

Held, who previously worked as director of client relations at Hospitality Quotient, will oversee the sales, training and development teams while also negotiating corporate partnerships.

Feilen, who was most recently responsible for overseeing OTG’s airport businesses, will be responsible for operations at the Clear’s airport locations and professional sports venues.

The expansion of the company’s leadership team comes a couple of months after Clear added executives from U.S. Customs Service, Amazon, American Express and Avon.

“This has been a period of amazing growth for CLEAR,” said Chairman and CEO Caryn Seidman Becker. “Kerry and Ben add fantastic operational and hospitality experience to our team. They will play a critical role in our continued efforts to bring CLEAR members the best possible airport experience.”
