ievo to display range of fingerprint readers at Smart Security Technology

ievo are exhibiting its range of fingerprint readers for access control systems at the upcoming Smart Security Technology (SST2017) event in Rotterdam.

The event is organized by Ievo distributer and security solutions integrator Smart SD.

“This (is) the third time we have supported Smart SD’s security event and are looking forward to meeting a variety of existing and potential customers,” explained ievo Export Sales Manager Stephen Thompson. “We also use the time to talk to manufacturers of different security equipment and discuss integration opportunities.

“We will be displaying our range of biometric fingerprint readers, which are used as part of access control systems for organizations worldwide. The ievo ultimate, ievo micro and ievo desktop registration units as well as our upgraded REV4 control unit are already drawing attention from industry experts, security integrators, installers and end users. They utilize some of the most advanced image capturing techniques and technologies to ensure positive identification, increasing safety and reliability of the access system whilst also increasing efficiency for the end user.”

Earlier this year, the CPNI (Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure) included ievo’s flagship fingerprint scanner, ievo ultimate, as part of its trusted Catalogue of Security Equipment (CSE), permitting the scanner’s use in protecting a wide range of government facilities.
