ZKAccess has launched the ProBio-ID, a multimodal biometric access control device with SilkID technology.

The stand-alone device includes a face recognition camera and ZKAccess’ SilkID fingerprint sensor and connects directly to door locks or panels no differently than a keypad or RFID card reader.

“ProBio-ID has the unique ability to read faces, fingerprints, RFID cards, PIN codes or any combination of these four credentials,” explained Larry Reed, CEO, ZKAccess.

Earlier this year, ZKAccess introduced ZKBioSecurity3.0, its new “All-in-One” web-based security platform software.
