TRANSACT Tech New York City to focus on biometrics and next generation authentication

The Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) is partnering with the International Biometrics + Identity Association (IBIA) for the TRANSACT Tech New York City event, which will be held on March 13, 2018, in the American Express Tower.

The agenda for the event, the first in the 2018 TRANSACT Tech series, will focus on biometrics, next generation authentication, and enabling secure and frictionless commerce.

ETA and IBIA will bring together payment industry executives and Fintech companies for the event.

“ETA is excited to partner with the International Biometrics and Identity Association to provide savvy payments leaders an opportunity to build their knowledge base on authentication and security,” said ETA CEO Jason Oxman. “Payments touch every industry. Given the rapid changes within the industry, TRANSACT Tech New York will give attendees the information they need to remain competitive.”

TRANSACT Tech New York City sessions will include a panel discussions of next generation authentication and maximizing security, partnerships for authentication and merchant POS technology, and investing in payments.

“IBIA looks forward to joining with the ETA to connect leaders in the identity technology industry with payments professionals eager to incorporate next-generation authentication protocols into their products,” said IBIA Managing Director Tovah LaDier. “As identity technology companies recognize the growing significance of the fintech, the New York City market is a top target.”
