Nymi launches Enterprise Edition to ease continuous authentication integration for FDA-regulated businesses

Nymi has announced the launch of a comprehensive solution to provide enterprises with complete administration, management, and integration capabilities for its Nymi Band multi-factor biometrically authenticated access control and compliance wearable.

The new Nymi Enterprise Edition is designed to enable integration of the Nymi Band into existing identity systems for fingerprint and ECG-backed access control to devices, applications, and physical spaces to maintain productivity while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and security, according to the announcement. It integrates with identity access management (IAM) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) to provide electronic signatures and store batch records, and can help significantly reduce deviations and compliance costs associated with 21 CFR Part 11, the company says.

“By moving to an ‘on-body, always on’ authentication model, users of the Nymi Enterprise Edition realise significant improvements in data integrity, security and productivity,” says Nymi COO Dave Rai. “With the Nymi Enterprise Edition, deployment is quick and easy as the architecture leverages the existing MES and IAM infrastructure.”

Nymi has also formed partnerships to ease integration with Werum’s PAS-X MES and Evidian’s Enterprise SSO.
