Regula document readers deployed at Trinidad and Tobago airport

A new automated border control system in Piarco International Airport’s arrivals area was put into operation last weekend including 12 self-service kiosks fully equipped with Regula document readers.

The automated passport system will increase efficiency and put Trinidad and Tobago alongside major countries that have such systems in use.

A similar border control system is also expected to soon be featured in the departures area of Piarco and later on at ANR Robinson International Airport, the other international airport serving the region.

Regula is celebrating its 26th anniversary of producing expert devices for authenticating documents, banknotes and securities.
