DFBA awards $54M contract to Ideal Innovations

Ideal Innovations (I3) has won a $54M contract to continue its support to the U.S. Army’s Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency Biometrics Operations Division’s (BOD) Information Technology mission.

The Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency (DFBA) was established in September of 2012 to provide the Department of Defense a permanent body that could take advantage of rapidly-evolving technology.

I3 has been supporting the DFBA BOD effort since 2012. This base plus four option years effort provides program management, system, network and database administration, help desk, cybersecurity, configuration management and system engineering support.

“We are honored to continue supporting DFBA BOD in this important program. Our experience in these areas ensures that DFBA BOD will receive the highest quality support with its IT mission to support the warfighter,” Bob Kocher, I3 President and CEO.
