Startup Unifyia announces biometric services launching in 2019

Digital identity management and authentication startup Unifyia has announced plans to launch multi-cloud and on-premise Identity Life-cycle Management Services and Automated Biometric Identification Services (ABIS) for large scale deduplication and identification using fingerprint, face, iris, palm, and voice recognition.
Unifyia’s microservices-driven solutions and partnerships are designed to establish trust, assurance and compliance for people and smart devices, according to the announcement. The company plans to release low-cost Identity Management Services, ABIS, and Access Management Services in 2019, and will offer free pilots to qualified customers.
The company’s target markets include governments at various levels, law enforcement agencies, transportation and border control agencies, the hospitality industry, healthcare and education providers, banking and financial institutions, and enterprises in the tech, automotive, IoT, and consumer verticals.
Unifyia’s website shows representatives in the U.S., Latin America, and India.
While the identity and access management market is increasingly crowded, research published recently by Global Market Insights forecasts it will generate $18.9 billion in the U.S. alone by 2024.
