Regula releases new version of its Document Reader SDK

 

Regula announced it has released a new version of Document Reader SDK, 4.12.5. This new version includes an updated database of 7037 document templates from 243 countries and territories. 268 of the templates are new.

Key features of the newly updated Document Reader SDK 4.12.5 include: optical character recognition for Latin, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Vietnamese and Balkan alphabets has been improved in speed and accuracy; new firmware version 21.13; the SDK installation package size has been greatly reduced due to the removal of redundant 3rd party libraries, and; CPU utilization in document video detection mode has been improved.

The Belarus-based developer and manufacturer of expert forensic devices and software recently showcased its solutions at Passenger Terminal Expo 2019 in London and at Passenger Technology Solutions in Hamburg Messe.
