Synaptics reporting Q3 results May 9

Synaptics will report financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2019 on Thursday, May 9, 2019 after the close of market and will host a corresponding conference call for analysts and investors at 2:00 p.m. PT.

Last month Synaptics announced the departure of CEO Richard Bergman and updated its third quarter guidance. The company noted that due to demand softness in China it now expects revenue and non-GAAP EPS to be around the lower end of the original guidance range of $340 million to $380 million and $0.70 to $1.00, respectively.

Synaptics’ SecurePad technology, a touchpad with a built-in fingerprint sensor, is now featured in Toshiba’s Satellite Pro A50-EC and Tecra A50-EC laptops and Clevo’s high-performance notebook series.
