Accurate Biometrics wins Fermilab fingerprinting and background checks contract

Accurate Biometrics has been awarded the live scan fingerprinting service contract for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, the Daily Herald reports. Fermilab is located just outside Batavia, Illinois, near Chicago, and is a United States Department of Energy national laboratory specializing in high-energy particle physics.

The purpose of the contact is to provide live scan fingerprinting services for specific Fermi Research Alliance LLC employees and to conduct FBI fingerprint-based criminal history record information background checks. The contract is for one year with four optional renewal years.

Last month the company was awarded a contract with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation for receiving, storing and reporting fingerprint-based criminal history background check results in support of state licensing requirements.

Both the CEO and President of the Illinois-based company were selected as semi-finalists for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 Award in the Midwest Region. Accurate Biometrics is a certified woman-owned small business that has provided live scan fingerprinting service and solutions since 2006.
