BSI launches gesture recognition solution for Windows workstations and devices
Biometric Signature ID (BSI) has launched BioTect-ID, its latest identity verification solution which authenticates users by capturing their unique gestures as they draw a 4-character password with their finger, mouse, or stylus.
Using the same mechanics as BSI’s flagship product BioSig-ID, BioTect-ID is an out-of-the-box multi-factor authentication app that provides users with additional security by locking down Windows workstations and devices.
“BioTect-ID is the product of years of development and hard work,” explains Jeff Maynard, CEO/Founder, Biometric Signature ID. “Physical biometrics like irises, fingerprints, and facial features are irreplaceable and gone forever if stolen. BioTect-ID is completely non-invasive, requires only a simple a gesture to gain access and can be revoked, or replaced at any time thus creating the perfect security trifecta.”
The developer of software only ID authentication notes that its new technology features a 99.97% degree of accuracy.
“BioTect-ID is a game-changer in the authentication space and is unlike anything else on the market today,” adds Maynard. “We understand that as technology evolves, the need for increased security measures such as BioTect-ID becomes increasingly critical. Our solution eliminates any risk of imposter log-in by locking down the device and giving users complete control via secure access anywhere anytime.”
