Adastra leverages AI digital onboarding solution from Innovatrics

Adastra has partnered with Innovatrics to integrate its AI-based digital onboarding toolkit to introduce biometric measurements and security, the company announced.

The solution leverages optical character recognition to deliver document scanning without a special setup and a platform to train new IDs for service providers. The process involves feeding it eight quality images of the ID and keeping track of the type of information placed in different parts of the ID.

The AI will then create several million synthetic IDs complete with photos, names, addresses and scratches and production errors, just like real IDs. The system can then read IDs although they have wear errors or scratches.

“Innovatrics’ solution fits our portfolio for digital onboarding perfectly. Thanks to the fact that it can work with proofs of ID from almost all over the world, and its solutions win global competitions in the field of biometrics, it opens the door for us to enter other foreign markets,” said Jan Pacovský, Adastra’s digital onboarding expert.

Applications can now be filled out 1.5 times faster, the company claims, allowing companies to cross-sell three times more effectively following a successful implementation in Asia. A number of banks, financial institutions, telecom operators, and gas and electricity suppliers in the Czech Republic are already using the solution.

Last month Innovatrics announced a partnership with Precise Biometrics that will see facial recognition technology from Innovatrics integrated into Precise’ Digital Identity offerings.
